Concept

The DesignConcept

That was the essence of our interior design direction for Tokyo Arabia, Saudi Arabia. The goal was to blend traditional Japanese aesthetics with contemporary sophistication, ensuring the restaurant retained its cultural roots while evolving for the modern dining experience.

By analyzing the principles of Japanese design and incorporating modern materials and techniques, we aimed to replicate and elevate the essence of this distinctive Japanese restaurant brand.

Direction

The Designdirection

The Tokyo brand was well-recognized but visually flat. We added depth and layers to its design language, reinforcing its visual impact and creating a more immersive environment. We blended traditional Japanese construction techniques with contemporary materials, achieving a striking balance between heritage and modernity. The dining and sushi areas were designed to be adaptable, catering to different guest experiences. Whether for quick single seating or comfortable long dining sessions, the space is fluid and responsive.

The SecretMocktail Bar

A unique and partially concealed mocktail bar was introduced, adding an intimate and exclusive layer to the dining atmosphere. The secret mocktail bar surrounded by lush greenery and water features offers an exclusive and intimate retreat within the restaurant. This hidden gem enhances the experiential nature of the space, encouraging repeat visits and exploration.
